Ulster's new signing Gareth Milasinovich is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a torn ACL injury in training.
Milasinovich, who signed for the Irish province in February, is scheduled for surgery and is expected to be out of action for approximately nine months according to an injury update.
The 26-year-old prop was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, but qualifies for Ireland through his grandfather Norman McFarland, a former Ulster player.
He joins Ulster from Worcester Warriors who he made 28 appearances for last season.
