Ireland's Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe has finished as top try scorer in the World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series.

The 24-year-old Tipperary flyer finished the season with 35 tries from 33 games, including four in this weekend's action in Biarraitz.

Ireland ended the series in eighth position for their highest ever finish, and armed with a new record points haul of 41.

It is a jump of two places from last year.
