Rob Kearney is close to signing a new deal with the IRFU to keep him with Leinster post the World Cup.
The full-back's current contract expires in November, after the upcoming World Cup, but, speaking to Newstalk, the Louthman confirmed he is very close to penning a fresh contract.
The 33-year-old was part of the Leinster team who claimed the Pro14 title on Saturday. He has been a key play for the province throughout his career and has been capped 90 times for Ireland.
Kearney had been linked with a move to France but his future lies with Leinster and Ireland.
