Former Munster scrum-half Mike Prendergast has joined named Racing 92's coaching staff.

The 41-year-old has spent the last year at Stade Francais, working alongside Paul O'Connell before the ex-Ireland captain left the club in March.

Prendergast has penned a three-year deal with Racing where he will act as backs and attack coach. He's been coaching in France since 2013 when he went to Grenoble, having stints with  Oyonnax and Stade before this latest move to Racing.

He'll have a couple of other Munster men for company in the shape of Simon Zebo and Donnacha Ryan.

They're preparing for a clash at Agen this weekend, which Racing must win to guarantee progression to the Top 14 play-off quarter-finals.
