Munster captain Peter O'Mahony says he has 'no complaints' after his side suffered a disappointing defeat to Saracens in the Heineken Champions Cup.

The loss at the Ricoh Arena means Munster have lost seven semi-finals in succession.

"We are feeling disappointed, that’s the overriding factor but we can’t have any complaints," O'Mahony told RTÉ Sport.

"We were beaten by a better side today. They are a classy outfit, we understood how much it was going to take, we just weren’t good enough."

The first half was a tight affair, the hosts led 12-9, thanks to four Owen Farrell penalties with Tyler Bleyendaal (2) and Conor Murray responding with three-pointers.

After the break Saracens took control with 12 points in the opening 13 minutes.

"At half-time we spoke about it before hand the first 20 minutes and the second 20 minutes are their biggest points accumulators, we felt like we were in a good place.

"It was a a difficult first half, going in three points down we thought we were in a good place, they were very clinical after the break and you are forced to play out of your structure and in places you don’t want to play.

"They live off that broken play, their defence is very impressive and they put us under huge pressure."

Although Munster are out of the Champions Cup they have the PRO 14 to focus on for the rest of the season.

"We have a couple of games over the next few weeks that we need to get sorted for. It is another semi-final but it’s certainly a different group and a different dynamic, we will take our learnings and move on."
