Joey Carbery is a major doubt for Munster's Heineken Champions Cup semi-final against Saracens next week.
The Ireland outhalf limped out of the quarter-final win over Edinburgh after suffering a reoccurrence of the hamstring injury that kept him out of the closing stages of Ireland's Six Nations campaign.
Head coach Johann van Graan, whose contract was today extended to 2022, admitted Carbery's chances of recovering in time for the trip to Coventry on 20 April were slim.
Tyler Bleyendaal has impressed in Carbery's absence, kicking a touchline conversion and penalty in Scotland before adding five conversions and a penalty in Friday's win over Cardiff.
Keith Earls is expected to be back in contention for this Friday's Pro14 clash with Benetton after missing out against Cardiff due to a tight thigh.
Brian Scott (foot), James Cronin (leg), Tommy O’Donnell (shoulder) and Carbery are all continuing their rehabilitation.
