Ronan O'Gara has distanced himself a potential role with the French management team at this year's World Cup.
Reports emerged last week that the former Ireland number 10 was set to assist head coach Jacques Brunel for the tournament in Japan.
Les Blues had a disappointing Six Nations this year, finishing fourth with just two wins. It led the French Rugby Federation (FFR) to shorten Brunel's contract, which was originally supposed to run until the summer of next year.

He will now depart his role after the World Cup. O'Gara and Fabien Galthie, who was said to be open to any approach, were reportedly being recruited to help boost French fortunes at the tournament.
But O'Gara has told New Zealand radio tonight that the job is not for him. He's currently one of the assistant coaches at Super Rugby club Crusaders.
