England centre Manu Tuilagi has ended speculation about his future by signing a new deal with Leicester.

Tuilagi had been linked with a move to French side Racing 92 following the conclusion of this year's World Cup in Japan, but has instead opted to remain with the club where he began his career in 2010.

The 27-year-old said on Leicester's official website: "This was a big decision for me to make but I am very happy to be able to stay here, I have a lot of friends here, my family is happy here and the club means a lot to me."
