Flanker Dan Leavy has been recalled to the Ireland squad ahead of Saturday's Six Nations finale against Wales, while Josh van der Flier has been ruled out with a groin injury.

Scrum coach Greg Feek said backs Rob Kearney and Joey Carbery, who missed the win over France through injury, will train this afternoon.

"Dan Leavy is in the group as well and he'll train with us fully. We got him in to make sure he's all good," said Feek.

"Sean O'Brien has been training and working really hard, I suppose that does put him in contention. I think those sort of things are a natural progression, who is in line? I suppose Dan is there as well so we'll make our minds up.

"Obviously, Peter [O'Mahony] covered there later in the game and did all right too so there's a few options there but I think at this stage we'll see how that group fits together this afternoon and well go from there.

"Tadhg Beirne, he's looking pretty good as well; he's got his hand up for selection and he'll train again today,"

Out-half Ross Byrne has returned to the Leinster camp.
