Pro14 team news: Kearney and McGrath back for Leinster

Rob Kearney will captain Leinster for his side's Pro14 clash against Scarlets at the RDS Arena on Friday evening.

Kearney returns from injury he starts at full-back. James Lowe is back after serving a suspension and takes his place on the left with Barry Daly on the right.

In the pack, Kearney's fellow Six Nations squad member Jack McGrath also returns from injury. James Tracy and Michael Bent make up the front row.

Leo Cullen has named seven academy players in the squad of 23. Forward Jack Dunne looks set to make his debut off the bench.

Hugh O'Sullivan makes his first start for the Province, the scrum-half made his European debut off the bench against Wasps. Ciaran Frawley will slot in at out-half.

Ulster face Bennetton in their Pro14 clash tomorrow and Dan McFarland has made eight changes for the encounter.

Academy players Michael Lowry and James Hume will play at full-back and outside-centre respectively.

Robert Baloucoune, who scored the match-winning try at Welford Road, is again given the nod. He starts on the right wing.

Alan O’Connor takes over the captaincy from Rory Best and will partner Kieran Treadwell in the second row.

Ireland squad member Rob Herring is on the bench.
