It is reported today that Ireland will undertake a three-match Test series in New Zealand in 2022.
Joe Schmidt’s team are gearing up for Saturday’s clash with the All Blacks at the Aviva Stadium, but according to the Irish Times today, the IRFU and NZR finalising details of a series in four years’ time.
Ireland’s last match on New Zealand soil was a 60-0 hammering in Hamilton in 2012 in a 3-0 series defeat and have lost all 12 visits to the country.
With next year’s World Cup dominating the international calendar, Ireland will not host the All Blacks again until November 2021.
