Adam Griggs has named nine uncapped players in his Ireland Women's panel for the November Tests against the USA and England, but Niamh Briggs has not been included.

Munster's Enya Breen and Laura Sheehan, Leinster trio Emma Hooban, Ellen Murphy and Juliet Short along with Lauren Delany, who qualified through an IQ Rugby screening day, could all make their international debuts in two months.

Three development players [Beibhinn Parsons and Aoibheann Reilly from Connacht, Daisy Earle from Leinster] are also included.

Ireland take on the Americans at Donnybrook Stadium on Sunday, 18 November, and then head to Twickenham six days later.

Briggs, who missed last year's World Cup on Irish soil due to an Achilles tendon injury, but played her part in the spring's Six Nations campaign, in which Ireland finished third.

She is not made the panel for the autumn internationals however.

"We are up against two good teams and it's a good chance to blood new talent and get in preparation ahead of the Six Nations," said Griggs.

"This year we have included three development players. They are going to be fully immersed in the squad with an eye on fast-tracking their development and making sure in a year or two they will be ready to go at international level.

"In saying that when they come in to compete with the other players in the squad, if they are doing their job well, they have every chance of being selected."
