Peter O'Mahony, Andrew Conway and Chris Cloete all return to boost Munster ahead of their Pro14 clash with the Ospreys tomorrow night, with Joey Carbery and Tadgh Beirne set to make their first starts for the province.

Captain O'Mahony makes his first start of the campaign at Irish Independent Park [7.35pm] along with fellow returning international Conway.

Flanker Cloete makes a welcome return in the back row having been out of action since February due to forearm and groin injuries.

There are 11 changes to the side who lost to Glasgow Warriors in Scotstoun last week.

Full-back Mike Haley and winger Darren Sweetnam keep their places with Conway completing the back three.

Dan Goggin comes into the side at inside centre with Sammy Arnold at 13 as Duncan Williams and Carbery form the half-back pairing.

It’s all change in the front five as James Cronin, Rhys Marshall and Stephen Archer come into the front row.

Darren O’Shea captained Munster A to an opening day Celtic Cup win last week and is rewarded with a place in the second row alongside first-time starter Beirne.

Arno Botha is the only forward to keep his place - he's joined in the back row by captain O’Mahony and Cloete.

It's Munster’s first competitive fixture on the new modified 3G surface at Irish Independent Park. All-Ireland camogie champions Cork will make an appearance with with the O’Duffy Cup at half-time.

Ireland scrum-half Kieran Marmion makes his first start of the Pro14 campaign in the Westerners' first away trip of the season.

Marmion’s return is one of four changes to the starting side that earned a bonus-point win over Zebre last weekend, with young Sligo prop Conan O’Donnell, lock Ultan Dillane and winger Niyi Adeolokun also included.

Academy No 8 Paul Boyle, 21, starts again after his two-try man-of-the-match performance against the Italians. He is part of an unchanged back row with captain Jarrad Butler and Sean O’Brien.

Adeolokun’s inclusion on the wing sees him join a back three that includes Matt Healy on the opposite side and Tiernan O’Halloran at full-back. The centre pairing of Eoin Griffin and Kyle Godwin is also retained.

"It is pleasing that we have some real depth and quality coming through, it’s how we balance it while rewarding good performances at the same time," said Connacht head coach Andy Friend.

"We also really need that physicality against this Edinburgh side.

"Bundee starts off the bench and is raring to go. We face a big challenge in Murrayfield and no doubt Edinburgh will be hurting after the loss last weekend – it’s another massive challenge for us."
