Ireland have a near clean bill of health following their 18-9 defeat to Australia in the opening Test of their summer tour Down Under.

The Irish squad have arrived into Melbourne on Sunday evening after a short flight from Brisbane and will now begin to build up to the second game at the AAMI Park.

Keith Earls is the only casualty from the opening encounter and he will go through the graduated return to play protocols following his removal from the field on Saturday for a HIA.

Elsewhere the IRFU confirmed that apart from that it’s only a case of the "bumps and bruises associated with a high quality Test match."

Head coach Joe Schmidt looks likely to make a raft of changes for the second Test, with the likes of Johnny Sexton, Devin Toner, Dan Leavy and Garry Ringrose all expected to start.
