Ireland will make history by playing a one-off Test against Hungary.
The first meeting between the two countries will take place in Budapest on 30 June.
Hungary Rugby League president Zsolt Lukacs says the biggest match in the Magyar Bulls' history will prepare them for the Emerging Nations World Championship in Sydney in October.
Rugby League Ireland official Steve Hogan said: "We are honoured to be able to travel to Hungary and play this fixture in the beautiful, historic city of Budapest.
"We are especially looking forward to the part we can play in assisting the development of the sport in central Europe."
