France look set to have a new head coach for the start of the upcoming Six Nations as speculation mounts regarding the tenure of Guy Noves.
French media are reporting that Noves will be replaced imminently with Jacques Brunel set to take over Les Bleus for the 2018 Championship.
Noves has been in charge for 21 Test games and during that period the national side have won only seven of those games, drawing one and losing a remarkable 13.
Brunel is currently in charge of Bordeaux Begles, and was Italian national coach from 2011 to 2016.
Brunel also assisted Bernard Laporte when he was in charge of France from 2001 to 2007 and the current French Federation president is set to speak in relation to a staff reshuffle on Wednesday 27 December.
