Tyler Bleyendaal and Niall Scannell are rated as doubtful for Munster’s Champions Cup game against Racing on Saturday.
The out-half and the hooker played in Sunday’s 17-17 draw with Castres but Munster boss Johan Erasmus says that both are struggling to stay in contention with neck and wrist injuries respectively.
"I don't think they'll be available this week," he said.
The South Africa-bound director of rugby confirmed that new signing Chris Cloete has joined up with the squad but the back-row forward will not feature in the Champions Cup tie at Thomond Park (5.30pm).
