This evening's Guinness Pro12 clash between Ulster and Zebre at Ravenhill has been called off, due to a frozen pitch.

Referee Craig Evans, who was set to take charge of his first ever Pro12 game, held a late inspection as temperatures plummeted in Belfast and with areas of the pitch frozen solid, was left with no choice but to call it off.

Ulster Rugby will work with Pro12 Rugby and Zebre to reschedule the fixture and a new date will be announced in due course. January 27 and February 3 appear to be the closest free dates to fulfil the fixture.

Supporters should retain their tickets as they will be valid for the rearranged game.
