Joe Launchbury will be available for Wasps' Champions Cup clash with Connacht on 11 December after he was banned for two weeks for kicking an opponent during England's victory against Fiji on Saturday.

Launchbury will miss the clashes with Argentina and Australia after his boot connected with the head of Fijian outside centre Asaeli Tikoirotuma in the 42nd minute of a record 58-15 victory at Twickenham.

The act was deemed reckless rather than deliberate and the low end sanction for the offence of a four-week ban was reduced to two weeks due to Launchbury's admission of guilt, his previous clean disciplinary record and good conduct at the hearing.

Meanwhile, Connacht say that Tom McCartney, Denis Buckley, Ronan Loughney, Sean O'Brien, Nepia Fox, Matamua, John Cooney and Matt Healy have all returned to full training and will be monitored closely ahead of team selection for Friday's Pro12 clash with Cardiff Blues at the Sportsground (7.35pm).
