Darren Cave is back in the frame for Ulster's Pro12 derby with Munster, but Les Kiss has a list of walking wounded after Saturday's Champions Cup defeat of Exeter Chiefs.

A 19-18 victory kept the province's Pool 5 hopes alive but it came at a cost.

Luke Marshall [knee] and Dan Tuohy [hip] are being monitored throughout the week, while Stuart Olding [hip flexor] and Kieran Treadwell [ankle] are all doubts for Friday night's Kingspan Stadium showdown.

Ireland lock Iain Henderson is definitely out, having suffered a shoulder injury, as is Peter Browne, Alan O'Connor [both concussion], Rodney Ah You [knee] and Ross Kane [facial laceration] are definitely out.

Cave has been missing for the last weeks after sustaining a calf tear against Connacht but has been given the all-clear to return to action. Robbie Diack is also back in the frame having recovered from a thigh problem.

Mark Best is ruled out due to a thumb injury sustained while playing for Ulster A versus London Scottish.

Chris Henry, Marcell Coetzee, Louis Ludik, Stuart McCloskey, Peter Nelson, Matthew Rea and Ricky Lutton remain on the current injured list.
