Sean O’Brien is in line for a recall when Leinster travel to Montpellier this weekend.

The Ireland flanker has been out of action since injuring his hamstring against France in the Six Nations last February.

However, O’Brien came through a Leinster ‘A’ game last weekend with no issues and is available for selection for Leo Cullen’s side for their second Champions Cup Pool 4 game (Sunday 1pm).

Out-half Johnny Sexton, who missed out against Castres on Saturday with a tight hamstring, will be assessed later in the week.

Jack Conan and Mike McCarthy are also available for selection, while Tadhg Furlong, Dave Kearney and Richardt Strauss will be monitored during the week.

Rhys Ruddock will definitely miss out with a calf injury.
