Ulster stars Luke Marshall and Craig Gilroy have been ruled out of Friday’s encounter against Scotland to face Glasgow in the Guinness Pro12.

Marshall suffered a concussion in Ulster’s 19-8 victory over Scarlets last Friday and will contine to be monitored as he follows required guidelines for concussive injuries

Gilroy picked up a toe injury against Scarlets and the winger is set to be sidelined for up to two weeks.

Prop Kyle McCall sustained an abdominal injury in training last week and is doubtful for the game.
 
Jacob Stockdale,   Andrew Trimble, Jonny Simpson, Chris Henry and Wiehahn Herbst  Ricky Lutton, Johnny Murphy, Dan Tuohy and Tommy Bowe remain sidelined. 

Munster, who face Edinburgh at Thomond Park on Saturday, will again have to plan without Tommy O'Donnell in their back row.

O'Donnell suffered a concussion in the loss to Cardiff at Rodney Parade. 

Concussion has also ruled centre Colm O'Shea and winger Andrew Conway out of action.

Keith Earls who was a late withdrawal from the match-day squad after reporting a tight hamstring will take part in rehab running this week.

Peter O'Mahony will return to modified training this week as he continues to recuperate from a knee problem.

Ahead of Saturday's Guinness PRO12 game away to Scarlets, the Connacht Rugby medical team have provided the following update.

Connacht’s Dominic Robertson McCoy sustained an injury to his arm in training last week and will be missing for a minimum of six weeks, meaning the prop misses the away fixture against Scarlets on Saturday.

Lock Quinn Roux will integrate fully into training this week and is available for selection following a hip problem. 

Flanker Jake Heenan has recovered from the hand problem he sustained in pre-season and is available for selection.
