Connacht have received an injury boost following the bad news earlier this week about Bundee Aki and Denis Buckley.

Aki and Buckley may both miss the province’s remaining games this season, but Tiernan O'Halloran, AJ MacGinty and Jake Heenan are all fit for Friday night’s trip to Benetton Treviso.

The trio are all back in full training following leg injuries and are expected to be available for selection.

Connacht medics confirmed that Aki suffered a knee injury the brilliant recent win over Munster.

The 26-year-old centre has been ruled out of this week's trip to Italy and will continue to be assessed as he faces a race to be fit in time for the Pro12 play-offs.

Prop Denis Buckley, who along with Aki is in the running for the Connacht player of the year award, sustained a fracture to his ankle in training last Friday and will be unavailable for at least the next two games against Treviso and defending champions Glasgow Warriors.

Head Coach Pat Lam will name his team to face Benetton Treviso named on Thursday at 12 noon.
