Munster out-half Tyler Bleyendaal has been ruled out of action for up to 12 weeks.
The 25-year-old New Zealander has a quadriceps tendon injury and after a specialist consultation over the last week, the medical team have recommended an extended lay-off.
Andrew Conway (hip pointer) continues to be monitored, and it has been confirmed that BJ Botha (ACL) and academy out-half Bill Johnston (dislocated shoulder) will undergo their respective surgeries at the end of next week.
Munster, already out of the competition, travel to Benetton Treviso on Sunday (1pm Irish) for their final Champions Cup game looking to build on the win over Stade Francais last weekend.
