Leinster’s Fergus McFadden has been cited following an incident in the Pro12 match against Connacht on New Year’s Day.

The winger was cited for allegedly stamping or trampling on Ireland international Nathan White early in the first half of Leinster’s 13-0 victory at the RDS.

McFadden has been cited under Law 10.4 (B): “A player must not stamp or trample on an opponent.”

No date has yet been set for the hearing, which will be held before an independent Pro12 Rugby Disciplinary Committee.

Prop Cian Healy was suspended for two weeks for a 'reckless act of foul play' following an independent disciplinary hearing in London last week.

Healy was cited for allegedly striking Toulon hooker Guilhem Guirado with his knee during the Champions Cup Round 3 match at Stade Félix Mayol on 13 December.

He pleaded not guilty to the offence of striking but the judicial officer decided Healy had committed a reckless act of foul play.

Leinster travel to the Ospreys this Friday night in the Pro12.
