Connacht coach Pat Lam has named his side for the Guinness PRO12 match away to Ospreys on Saturday afternoon, with full-back Tiernan O'Halloran captaining the side for the first time.

Galway-born O'Halloran, 24, is awarded the honour as John Muldoon, having played 80 minutes in all four games so far this season, is named among the replacements.

There are five personnel changes from the starting XV that lined out against Zebre last week.

Jack Carty has recovered from the injury that kept him out last time to take his place at outhalf.

There is a shift in the backline as Craig Ronaldson moves out to inside centre and Bundee Aki wears the 13 shirt.

Galway man Darragh Leader is named on the wing for his first start of the season, replacing Danie Poolman who pulled up with a minor hamstring injury during the week.

Up front, 21-year-old Academy hooker Shane Delahunt will make just his second senior start and packs down in a front row with the experienced Denis Buckley and Rodney Ah You. Aly Muldowney is also named for his first start of the season, joining Quinn Roux in the second row.

The back row sees Eoin McKeon shift to blindside flanker to make way for Eoghan Masterson at Number 8. Top try scorer Nepia-Fox Matamua completes the youthful back row.

Ben Te'o will start at No 12 for Leinster

Leinster head coach Leo Cullen has made seven changes to the starting XV that lost away to the Scarlets last weekend as Leinster welcome the reigning Pro12 champions Glasgow Warriors to the RDS.

Returning players include Ben Te'o and Jack Conan who have shaken off calf and ankle knocks respectively.

Mike McCarthy and Rhys Ruddock, who were late additions to the Irish squad at the Rugby World Cup, also return. Ruddock came off the bench in the quarter-final defeat to Argentina. 

For the fourth game in a row it's as you were in the back three with Isa Nacewa captaining the side from full-back, Garry Ringrose on the right wing and Fergus McFadden on the left.

Te'o has shaken off the calf injury that kept him out of last week's trip to Parc y Scarlets and takes his place in the outside centre channel, with Noel Reid inside him at 12.

In the half-backs Luke McGrath starts at scrum-half for the third time in five games, while Cathal Marsh is outside him at 10 having won a man of the match award last time out at the RDS against the Dragons.

Irish internationals Michael Bent and Marty Moore are once again selected at loosehead and tighthead prop respectively, while Aaron Dundon comes back in to the side at hooker.

McCarthy, who missed the Scarlets game due to his World Cup call up, comes back in to the second row to partner UCD's Ross Molony.

There are two changes in the back row with Ruddock coming back in at blindside flanker and Jack Conan selected at eight having recovered from the ankle injury suffered in the warm-up before the Dragons game. Josh van der Flier completes the back row at openside.

Among the replacements, Tadhg Furlong is in line to make his first appearance of the season for Leinster having played against Wales and England in the pre-World Cup warm up games and against Romania in the World Cup.

Following a try-scoring performance last weekend, Jordan Coghlan makes his first Pro12 start for Munster at openside, with Dave O'Callaghan and number 8 CJ Stander completing the back row. Stander will once again captain the side for this weekend's game.
 
A further five changes are seen across the backs. Cathal Sheridan and Tyler Bleyendaal come in at half-back, while Denis Hurley makes his first start of the season in forming a new centre partnership alongside the academy's David Johnston.
 
The final change comes in the back-three with academy winger Stephen Fitzgerald starting on the right wing with Gerhard van den Heever and Andrew Conway remaining in situ on the left wing and full-back respectively.
 
Having successfully completed his rehabilitation, Ronan O'Mahony is in line to make his first appearance of the season after being named amongst the replacements.
 
In other news, Munster can confirm today that Uruguayan prop Mario Sagario has signed a three-month contract with the province.

Sagario, who trained with the squad this week in Limerick and Cork, most recently started in all of Uruguay's Pool A World Cup games and has made 51 appearances for his country.  The 29-year-old tighthead formerly played with French Pro D2 sides RC Massy and Dax.

Darren Cave

Ireland duo Paddy Jackson and Darren Cave have been included in Ulster's squad for tomorrow night's Guinness Pro12 tie against Cardiff Blues at Kingspan Stadium.

Having returned from World Cup duty this week, the pair have been named among the replacements, with Neil Doak making just two changes to his starting XV.

After coming back from injury to earn a place on the bench last week, out-half Ian Humphreys will start his first competitive match of the season. He will combine with Paul Marshall at half-back and will have Stuart McCloskey and Sammy Arnold alongside him in midfield. The back three of Craig Gilroy, Andrew Trimble and Louis Ludik are retained.

Lewis Stevenson is the only change up front, taking the place of Dan Tuohy, who suffered from a concussion in the defeat to Edinburgh. Franco van der Merwe is his partner in the second row.

Callum Black, Rob Herring (captain) and Wiehahn Herbst will continue in the front row, with Roger Wilson, Sean Reidy and Nick Williams again making up the back row.

Ricky Lutton and Peter Browne are newcomers to the bench, providing cover for the forwards along with John Andrew, Andrew Warwick and Willie Faloon. Cave and Jackson are also joined by scrum-half David Shanahan.
