The Ireland women's team will play an autumn international against England at the Twickenham Stoop on 14 November.
The women's team, who are hosting an open training session at Kingspan Stadium this Saturday, will take on world champions England as part of the build up to the RBS 6 Nations.
Ireland, the reigning Women's RBS 6 Nations champions, defeated England 11-8 in their last encounter back in Februrary.
Speaking about the match Anthony Eddy, director of IRFU women's and sevens rugby said: "The match against England in November will be used as preparation for the squad leading into the 2016 6 Nations.
"The national women's XV's program are now preparing as a squad much earlier in the season than what they have done in the past and the opportunity to play a Test match against England is fantastic for the development of the squad.
"England remain women's world champions and are the benchmark for many national teams - this match will provide us with the opportunity to look at some potential players in a higher standard of competition."
