Ireland U20 head coach Nigel Carolan has made five changes to the team who lost out to New Zealand for tomorrow’s fifth place play off at the World Rugby U20 World Championship in Italy.
Ciaran Gaffney makes a return to the starting XV at full back, with Stephen Fitzgerald lining out on the wing.
Charlie Rock plays at scrum-half, replacing injured captain, Nick McCarthy who has returned home with a shoulder injury.
Up front, Conor Oliver comes into the back row along with Nick Timoney who starts at no. 8.
Josh Murphy will captain the side in Viadana, which kicks off at 7.30pm Irish time.
