Leinster 10-0 Treviso

On a night of rain, errors and little skill, Leinster scrambled past Treviso 10-0 at the RDS in their Pro12 encounter and in the process secured Champions Cup qualification for next season.

The Irish province led 7-0 at the break courtesy of a Jamie Heaslip try, which Ian Madigan converted. However, they could have been further ahead had Madigan not pushed an easy penalty from in front of the sticks.

The second half was an equally poor display from both sides, which only burst into life in the final few minutes when Edoardo Gori was red carded for a tip tackle on impending retiree Gordon D'Arcy. And moments later Francesco Minto and Sean O'Brien were both sin-binned for fighting.

Jimmy Gopperth knocked over the penalty resulting from the tackle on D'Arcy to secure the points late on for the home side.

The win means Leinster cannot finish lower in the table then sixth and are guaranteed their place in the Champions Cup for 2015/16.
