Leinster will welcome Bath to Dublin in the Champions Cup quarter-finals, having finished as fourth seeds in the pool stages, which ensured a home quarter-final for the Irish province.

Matt O'Conor's team secured a 20-20 draw with Wasps in Coventry yesterday, which left them on 20 points, however, they had blown a 14-point half-time lead to scrape home with the draw.

Had they managed to hold on for four points they could have finished ahead of Clermont on points difference as third seeds and faced Northampton instead.

Four-time winners Toulouse could have pushed Leinster out to fifth seed and an away tie, but they suffered a shock 27-26 defeat to Montpellier and were eliminated.

Johnny Sexton's Racing Metro topped the seedings and will welcome Saracens to Paris. Toulon are second seeds and the double European champions will face Wasps in the south of France.

Clermont are the final French team in the last eight and will also face English opposition in the form of Northampton Saints.

Should Leinster come through the challenge of Bath at the last-eight stage, they will have to travel for the semi-final to face the winners of the Toulon/Wasps clash.

In the other semi-final the winner of the Clermont/Northampton quarter-final will host the winner of the Racing/Saracens tie.

Meanwhile, Connacht will face Gloucester in the last eight of the Challenge Cup.

If Pat Lam's side can eliminate the Premiership outfit, they will go on to a home semi-final against either Exeter Chiefs or Newcastle Falcons.

The quarter-finals in both competitions will be played between 2-5 April, and the semi-finals will be played between 17-19 April.

The Challenge Cup final will take place at the Twickenham Stoop on 1 May, with the Champions Cup final taking place the following day at Twickenham.

The make-up of the 16 knock-out contenders is eight English, three French, two Irish, two Welsh and one Scottish.

It is also the first time since 1998 that England has had four quarter-final representatives in European rugby's top-rank tournament.
