Second rows Quinn Roux and Ultan Dillane have signed deals with Connacht and the IRFU that will keep them at the province until 2017.

Roux arrived at Connacht during the summer on an initial four-month loan deal from Leinster that was recently extended to the end of the current season. He has now signed a new two-year contract to remain in Galway.

21-year-old Dillane made his professional debut for the Westerners this season after three years in the province’s academy.

"As a coaching team, we are very excited to have both Quinn and Ultan staying with Connacht for at least the next two years," said Connacht Head Coach Pat Lam.

"They are both young, abrasive locks who have real physical presence. I believe with continued game time and exposure at this level, they have the potential to play for Ireland in the near future."
