Connacht pair Kieran Marmion and Nathan White have been cited for alleged infringements in Saturday's Heineken Cup defeat to Saracens.

Marmion is alleged to have struck the Saracens replacement, Neil de Kock (No 21), during the second half of the Pool 3 match at Allianz Park.

Prop White is alleged to have stamped or trampled on the Saracens centre, Brad Barritt during the first half of the Pool 3 clash at Allianz Park.

White was shown a yellow card by referee Leighton Hodges arising from the incident.

Should the Connacht scrum-half be found guilty he could be banned for four weeks for a low end citing, while the top end can stretch from 16 to 104 weeks. Stamping bans can range from 2-52 weeks.

The complaints were made by the match Citing Commissioner Richard McGhee (Scotland) and the hearing will take place in Dublin on 23 January.

Meanwhile, Edinburgh forward, Cornell Du Preez was also cited after allegedly striking Munster second row, Paul O'Connell during the first half of the Pool 6 match at Thomond Park. Du Preez was shown a yellow card by referee Wayne Barnes (England) arising from the incident.
