Ireland out-half Jonathan Sexton played no part for Racing Metro in last night's Top 14 game against Biarritz.
Sexton left the Ireland camp to return to France for the game but he stayed on the bench in a 9-6 defeat for his team.
The news will come as a relief to Ireland coach Joe Schmidt who had requested that Sexton be excused ahead of the autumn internationals against Samoa, Australia and New Zealand.
