Wales scrum-half Mike Phillips has been sacked by his club Bayonne, PA Sport understands.
Phillips faced an internal disciplinary hearing on Tuesday after it was alleged that he attended a video analysis session while drunk.
The French club's board decided on Saturday to terminate his contract and official confirmation is expected on Monday.
