Leinster have confirmed they are close to securing the services of Lote Tuqiri on a short-term deal.
The former Australia league and union winger is expected to sign within the next two weeks,
The 33-year-old will act as cover for Zane Kirchner, who won't arrive in Dublin until October due to his involvement with South Africa in the Rugby Championship.
Tuqiri scored 30 tries for Australia in his 67 caps between 2003 and 2009.
