Clermont have confirmed the signings of scrum-half Thierry Lacrampe and full-back Mike Delany for next season.

The Top 14 side have captured New Zealander Delany from Japanese side Panasonic Wild Knights on an initial two-year deal while Castres half-back Lacrampe joins the club on a three-year contract.

Clermont sporting director Jean-Marc Lhermet said the recruitment shows Clermont are aiming for stability and consistency.

"For several seasons we have built our workforce on a stable and solid frame," Lhermet told asm-rugby.com.

"Our recruitment policy for next season is following this guideline and will be a sign of continuity with the arrival of two players, Mike Delany and Thierry Lacrampe "

Former player Xavier Sadourny, 36, has also been confirmed as a replacement for Alex King as head of the Clermont training centre and will also link up with the first team as part of the coaching staff.
