No surprises in either team ahead of showpiece final

Leinster and Ulster have both named their teams for Saturday’s Heineken Cup final at Twickeham (kick-off 5pm).

Leo Cullen leads Leinster and he starts at second row alongside Brad Thorn, with Kevin McLaughlin joining Ireland colleagues Jamie Heaslip and Sean O’Brien in the back row.

Cian Healy starts in the front row alongside Richardt Strauss and Mike Ross, who makes his 65th appearance for the province.

Eoin Reddan links up with Jonathan Sexton at half back, while Brian O’Driscoll and Gordon D’Arcy – who will make his 86th European appearance and in doing so become the joint fifth most capped European player of all time - form the centre partnership.

Rob Kearney, who has scored six tries in eight Heineken Cup appearances so far this year, has also recovered from injury to take his place in the back three alongside Fergus McFadden and Isa Nacewa.

Ulster head coach Brian McLaughlin has named a near full strength team, welcoming John Afoa and Chris Henry back to the starting line-up.

Afoa returns after suspension while Henry slots back into the back row alongside Stephen Ferris and Pedrie Wannenburg, who will be playing his final game for Ulster.

Paddy Jackson will again start at number ten with Ian Humphreys forced to settle for a place on the bench.
