Dave Kilcoyne will make his first start for Munster in their RaboDirect PRO12 tie away to Scarlets (Saturday 6.30).

The prop has made just a single appearance for the province, as a replacement against Connacht in December, but impressed during the British and Irish Cup win over Leinster A two weeks ago.

Paul O’Connell is back and will partner Mick O’Driscoll, who announced his intention to retire earlier this week, in the second row, with Donncha O’Callaghan on the bench.

BJ Botha starts ahead of Stephen Archer in the front row while Conor Murray takes the place of London Irish-bound Tomas O’Leary in the only change in the backline from the win over Glasgow Warriors last weekend.
