Leinster have signed 25-year-old Irish-qualified Hurricanes prop Michael Bent.
Bent, who holds an Irish passport, can play on both sides of the scum and will join up with the province next season.
The New Zealander has spent the last two seasons playing with Hurricanes in Super Rugby as well as provincially with Taranaki.
