Munster have confirmed that they will sign Ulster prop BJ Botha at the end of the season.
Ulster said yesterday that the South African would leave at the conclusion of the current term.
And Munster have now agreed terms with the 31-year-old tighthead, who will fill the gap left by Tony Buckley's departure for Sale Sharks and the expected retirement of John Hayes.
The move is subject to Botha passing the usual medical and fitness tests and securing a valid work permit. He will join on a two year contract starting at the end of the current season.
Commenting on the news Munster coach Tony McGahan said, 'We are delighted that BJ Botha has opted to join Munster. He is a player of the highest calibre who we believe will add significantly to our squad.'
