Ulster have backline injury trouble ahead of their clash with Edinburgh in the Magners League on Friday night with Jamie Smith, Darren Cave and Simon Danielli out of contention.
Full-back Smith (shoulder girdle/rib) and centre Cave (hamstring) are still recovering from injuries sustained against Aironi two weeks. Wing Danielli injured his shoulder in Sunday’s Heineken Cup defeat against Biarritz and is also missing.
Ulster will name their team for the away match on Thursday.
