Connacht have announced their squad ahead of the Amlin Challenge Cup tie against Aviron Bayonnais at The Sportsground on Friday.

The 25-man squad sees the inclusion of extra cover at front row and the backline as players await the results of late fitness tests.

Sean Cronin, Jamie Hagan and Gavin Duffy return to the squad and Darragh Fanning and Barry Fa’amausili retain their place after appearing in last weekend’s matchday squad.

The return of Ray Ofisa and Keith Matthews will help bolster the side as Connacht look to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to I Cavalieri in Italy.
