The Ireland Women’s team to play the USA in the 5th/8th World Cup place play-off against the USA shows a number of changes from the starting XV that faced Kazakhstan in the final pool game.

In the front row Yvonne Nolan will start her first game, having been on the bench last time out. Gillian Bourke moves to prop as Nolan starts at hooker.

Sinead Ryan starts in the back row alongside with Claire Molloy named on the bench.

With Tania Rosser ruled out of the tournament Louise Beamish again starts at scrum half while Jo O’Sullivan moves to out half in place of Helen Brosnan, who picked up an ankle injury in the game against Kazakhstan.

Shannon Houston forms a new centre partnership with Lynne Cantwell who picked up her 60th cap in the last game.
