Leinster have requested an initial allocation of 5,000 tickets while Munster have asked for their full allocation of 10,000 for their Heineken Cup semi-final clashes.
If Leinster sell their initial allocation for their May 1 clash against current competition favourites Toulouse, a further 5,000 tickets will be made available to them.
Munster are set to play Biarritz in San Sebastian, in Spain, at the 32,000 seater Estadio Anoeta on May 2. The clash is a repeat of the 2005 quarter-final at the same venue in which Munster were beaten 19-10 by the Basque side.
Leinster's match sees them return to the scene of their famous quarter-final victory over 41-35 victory over Toulouse in 2006 in front of 4,500 travelling fans.
This year's clash also takes place at the 40,500-seater Le Stadium in Toulouse.
