Stade Francais prop David Attoub will have his appeal against a 70-week ban for eye-gouging heard in London on Tuesday, 2 March.

Attoub was suspended until 22 April, 2011 after being found guilty of gouging Ulster flanker Stephen Ferris during a Heineken Cup tie.

He has appealed against both the guilty verdict and the size of the suspension.

The independent appeal committee will be chaired by Professor Lorne Crerar (Scotland) and also comprises Rod McKenzie (Scotland) and Pat Barriscale (Ireland).
