7.13pm Okay peeps, that's it for this week. Good performance against a totally undercooked Fiji side.
The main talk of the week will be who will start at outhalf against South Africa at Croke Park next weekend. We will bring you that news as soon as we get it.
So, until the 'Boks come to town, see y'after.
7.07pm A very solid performance from Ireland. Man of the Match Jonathan Sexton was nothing short of perfection. This fella is the future; no doubt. For the record, he had a 100% record from the boot today.
Tom Court was excellent at scrum-time and also active in the loose. Leo Cullen's game was quiet, but nearly flawless. It would have been good to see more from him with ball in hand. He deserves a chance against South Africa too.
Two tries from Earls was enough to confirm a starting Test berth for him for next week. Horgan and D'Arcy played well, but probably not well enough to move above Tommy Bowe and Paddy Wallace in the pecking order.
A main result of today - although Fiji were not great opposition - was the strength Ireland have in depth. Cronin, Buckley and O'Brien were all excellent impact subs.
As for Leamy, let's hope his injury is not too serious. We will have any news on that as and when it comes through.
7.06pm The RTÉ panel are in awe of Jonathan Sexton. Popey and Hook think Sexton should play next week against the world champions. Conor O'Shea think O'Gara should be kept in.
80+1 mins Fiji lose it in a ruck on the ten-metre line. Andrew Trimble - who is on for Kearney - gets the ball in the 22. He darts inside Goneva, but his pass is to nobody and knocked on. The whistle blows for FULL-TIME.

76 mins TRY: Scrum for Ireland due to Fiji offside play again. Solid scrum . Heaslip picks and pases to D'Arcy on the blindside. D'Arcy draws the left-winger Roko and Horgan goes over in the corner. Easy now for Ireland. 39-6. CONVERSION: Amazing kick again from Sexton, right on the touchline and it's perfect. 41-6

52 mins Reddan puts in to the scrum. Heaslip to Ferris. Tom Court barrels forward a few yards. Sexton kicks to Ligairi at full-back, who returns it. Kearney gathers and kicks to the Fiji half; he hits touch inside the 22-metre line.

6.11pm The RTÉ panel are very critical of the team. Apparently they need to be far more effective in hand. George Hook wants to see Sexton at out-half for Ireland against South Africa on the basis of this performance.
40 mins Peno Ireland for deliberate obstruction, Sexton will go for 3 points from inside the 22 metre area. PENALTY: Sexton kicks it through the posts. 13-3 to Ireland and the half-time whistle is blown.

15.02pm I'll be back to update you on the Ireland game at around 5 o'clock. In the meantime, Wales v Argentina is live on RTÉ Two right now. Click here to watch that encouter.
3.00pm Good afternoon rugby fans and welcome to our live matchtracker coverage of Ireland v Fiji at the RDS. It was an extremely blustery morning here in Dublin, but the weather has calmed down nicely and I would even venture as far to call it a nice day here in the capital.
The big story today is undoubtedly the debut of Leinster out-half Jonathan Sexton. Sexton, as we all know, has been touted as the man to dislodge O’Gara from the number 10 Ireland jersey. Today is a huge chance for him to stake his claim to that pivotal role in the build up to the Six Nations 2010.
It also a crucial day for Gordon D’Arcy as he attempts to show Declan Kidney that he can still challenge Paddy Wallace for a starting berth in the first choice Ireland XV.
Another man who will be under extreme scrutiny will be left winger Keith Earls. Following the news that Luke Fitzgerald will miss the upcoming Six Nations campaign, Earls has become essential to Ireland’s hopes of retaining Europe’s premier international rugby trophy. A steady defensive performance, while maintaining his attacking flair and overcoming the nerves that dogged some of his British and Irish Lions’ performances is a must for the Munster man.
Game time for Leinster scrum-half Eoin Reddan is also a bonus of this encounter. For Ireland to have two top tier and internationally experienced scrum-halves would be a huge fillip. Scotland’s ability to call on the excellent Chris Cusiter or Mike Blair is an apt example of how choice in this area is an excellent way to change the flow of game.
Ireland’s scrum was the side’s most prominent Achilles’ heel against Australia at Croke Park last Sunday. A good performance at scrum-time for Ulster’s Tom Court would be go a long way towards reassuring the Ireland selectors that the options in this area are not as bleak as most fans seem to believe they are.
