A late Gary Brown try gave Ireland a 24-21 win over Australia at the Rugby World Cup Sevens in Dubai this morning.

Ireland led 17-7 at half time after first half tries from Felix Jones, Paul Marshall and Brian Carney.

Ireland yesterday lost their first match against Samoa by 35-5, while Australia defeated Portugal 24-12.
