Clontarf slipped off Division One's top perch as UL Bohemians handed them their third straight league defeat.

An unconverted try from flanker Tommy O'Donnell, off a Martin McPhail break, set Bohs on their way to a deserved victory over the leaders at Annacotty.

They were 12-3 ahead when out-half Aidan McNulty notched a seven-pointer but a try from experienced Clontarf winger Niall O'Brien cut the gap to 12-8.

However, Mark Doyle and Paul O'Donohoe swapped further tries as Bohs held on to take the spoils.

Scorers:

UL Bohemians: Tries: Tommy O’Donnell, Aidan McNulty, Mark Doyle; Con: Aidan McNulty.

Clontarf: Tries: Niall O’Brien, Paul O’Donohoe; Pen: Daragh O’Shea.
