The IRFU have confirmed the position regarding the availability of Irish squad members ahead of the Autumn tests against New Zealand and Argentina in November.
Any Munster players selected for the national team will not be made available for selection for the Heineken Cup champions match against the All-Blacks at Thomond Park.
The IRFU said: 'This has been the position since the game was originally agreed with the IRFU and that decision was made bearing in mind both the importance of IRB World Ranking points available for the Ireland team this November and the physical impact on players participating in high level games in such a short space of time.'
Ireland are due to play New Zealand on 15 November and the Pumas on 22 November.
The All Blacks will play Munster at Thomond Park in between both games on Tuesday 18 November.
