Ulster have named their squad for Friday's opening Magners League game against Llanelli Scarlets.
Coach Matt Williams has included new signing Brendan Botha and the South African is line to make his first start for the province.
Ulster finished last year's Magners League in ninth place and 32 points behind winners Leinster. Llanelli were ten points ahead of Williams' side in sixth place.
The sides also meet in the pool stages of the Heineken Cup.
